The Senate's Springtime Agenda with Senate President Rob McColley

We welcome springtime to the Statehouse this week with a preview of what the agenda looks like in the final year of the 136th General Assembly. Senate President Rob McColley returns to The President's Podcast.

He also looks back on Governor DeWine's final State of the State Address. The Governor signed SB 63 this week, officially banning the nonsense practice of Ranked Choice Voting in Ohio.

Also Artificial Intelligence is becoming a common high tech utility ranging from AI online searches to deep dives into sentence structures and even story writing. Scary stuff if used for the wrong reasons. That's why Senator Terry Johnson and Senator Louis Blessing sponsored SB 163. It addresses the dangers of AI being used to generate child pornography, along with AI generated images, and identity fraud. Senate President McColley gives us an update on the bill.

President McColley talks about that, voter identification, and election integrity here at home.  Plus, he highlights the success Ohio has had in reducing the income tax brackets down to a single flat tax and how that is showing strong returns for the state budget in the form of new economic development.
