Wright Flyer III Officially Lands as Official State Airplane of Ohio
The Wright Flyer III is now the official airplane of the State of Ohio.

Engineered and flown in 1905 by the famous Wright Brothers from Dayton, Ohio, the Wright Flyer III is considered the first reusable, reliable airplane in history. It could be flown, landed, and ready for takeoff, exceeding the parameters of the the original Flyer that was constructed in 1903 that is now on display at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.

Join us for a very special bill signing at the Wright Brothers National Musuem at the remarkable Carillon Historical Park in Dayton.

Hear from the Wright's Great Grandnephew, Stephen Wright, bill sponsors Senator Steve Huffman, Senator Terry Johnson, Senator Theresa Gavarone, and special Wright Brothers Museum Tour Guide Jim Charters as they talk about the dream of flight that launched from Orville and Wilbur's bike shop on this week's President's Podcast.
