Ingram Celebrates Buddy LaRosa Center for Youth Groundbreaking

This week, state Senator Catherine D. Ingram (D-Cincinnati) celebrated the groundbreaking of the Buddy LaRosa Center for Youth, a new community hub that will provide mentorship, wraparound services, and youth programming in Cincinnati.

The Buddy LaRosa Center for Youth is an investment in our young people and our community, said Ingram. I'm proud to have supported this project and look forward to the impact it will have for years to come.

Operated by Cincinnati Golden Gloves for Youth, the center will expand the organization's free boxing program while partnering with local nonprofits to offer leadership development, college and career readiness, and other enrichment opportunities for more than 1,500 youth each year.

The project received $250,000 through the state's capital budget in Senate Bill 450, funding Senator Ingram helped secure.
