Senate President Rob McColley Secures Millions for District in Capital Budget

Columbus—Senate President Rob McColley announced the passage of Ohio's new Capital Budget, securing nearly $10 million for community projects in the 1st Senate District.

Every two years the Ohio General Assembly passes a Capital Budget that provides funding for school construction and community projects around the state.

Senate Bill 450 invests $3.7 billion in Ohio and passed unanimously in the Senate during Wednesday's voting session.

"This funding makes a difference that people will notice here at home in the 1st District," said Senate President Rob McColley. "I'm pleased that our parks, fairgrounds, and recreational areas will continue to be destination places for our neighbors and families."
